OBJECTIVES

• To construct, provide and maintain adequate covered and open accommodation and infrastructure to the farming community and other stakeholders for Agricultural produce, seeds, fertilizers, implements and other notified commodities and maintenance on scientific lines.


• To facilitate easy accessibility to the farmers to store their stocks for better realization, to minimize storage loss, deterioration, wastage and to improve rural liquidity.


• To assist orderly Marketing and Price support/Control measures of the Government and support market to overcome from volatile market prices of agrarian commodities to the possible extent.


• To develop and operate Customs’ Notified Container Freight Stations for providing logistics support to the containerized import/export merchandise at the Industrial Centres of the State.


• To exploit its core competency and engage in related diversification to become more successful.
